Full cutting and processing of Glue-Lams, Solid Wood Panels and Foam Core Panels! Even large panels used for walls, floors and roofs can now be economically and precisely cut, shaped and drilled using the new Hundegger PBA Panel Cutting Machine. Several different cutting tools and profiles can be installed on the PBA machine making it possible to do a wide variety of cuts and edge treatments. The multiple-axis capabilities of the PBA gantry system enables cuts at any angle and bevel. Hundegger offers many advantages: The PBA panel cutting machine can process panels up to 8 m wide, 48 cm thick and of any length on 5 surfaces. The five axis gantry can hold up to six different tools, these tools allow the machine to perform any kind operations such as sawing, milling, slotting, drilling and marking - all operationes can be performed without changing tools or the machine setup. The work zone of the PBA can be configured so that one panel can be processed while another panel is beeing loaded. This minimizes idle time and optimizes cutting time for the CNC controlled operation. No clamping of the part is necesary due to the special operations table and machine construction. Data can be transfered to the contolling software from severel independent CAD programs. There is also the option for the operator to programm and alter individual elements directly at the operating console. The PBA comes with a practical, user friendly and easy to learn graphic operational software. The machine can be equipped with several diferent kinds of tools, such as dove-tail mills, routern, Scheiben- und Profilfräsern. Free programming allows diverse operations to be performed. New! Tool changer with up to 11 different tools. The tool changer provides the 5-axis 38 kW milling unit with up to 11 tools. Depending on the requirements of the part being processed, the appropriate tool is automatically fitted from the magazine. The PBA program manages and selects the tools. In addition to the type, diameter, length and magazine position, the optimum speed is also stored and automatically retrieved from the characteristic data.
