Speed-Panel-Machine SPM1 The SPM1 is Hundegger's new fully automated panel processing machine for cutting sheets of OSB, chipboard, plywood, and drywall in dimensions ranging from 19 5/8” to 49” (500 mm to 1250mm) in width and from 19 5/8” to 118” (500 mm x 3000 mm) in length. The SPM1 can easily process panels 3/8” to 1 9/16” (9 mm to 40 mm) thick. A full unit of panels can be loaded onto the in-feed lift table at once. The fully automated in-feed system then transports the sheets across the machine's fixed loading table. Two independent moving positioning wagons move the panels into the SPM 40's finishing area. The machine's 180° rotating saw and end mill cut the panels with precision. An optional 32-Nozzle Ink Jet Printer marking system is also available. Because entire units of material can be loaded, machine idle time is greatly reduced. An automated out-feed system allows processed panels to be restacked and banded. A flexible vacuum hose allows for efficient dust collection as the panel is being processed. Other waste is removed by a waste conveyor located under the machine.
